Minutes of the meeting held at PMA House on
September 4, 2008
A meeting took place in PMA House on 4 September
2008. It was attended by doctors from general hospital, Ganga Ram
Hospital, children hosp mayo, Lady Willingdon Hospital, Lady Aithcison
Hospital. People were from services which included Dr. Zeeshan joined
later. No representative from Jinnah was present.
Following were the decisions taken:
> The president and general secretary would continue to be from Mayo for
the next two years until we have a proper election in the organization.
> A list of the phone numbers was compiled from all teaching hospitals
and provided to all members.
> Dr. Rana Shohail and Dr. Salman Kazmi were elected as the president
and General Secretary of the organization unanimously after voting from
the executive council. A decision of a protest camps during Ramzan was
taken and it was decided that on every Wednesday the YDAP would arrange
in front of the Assembly hall from 2 to 4 pm. The meeting was attended
by Dr Izhar Choudhary, General Secretary PMA Punjab, Dr Rai Ahmad, Dr.
Kashif, Dr. Nasir Abbass, Dr. Khuzema, Dr. Shiraz Ahmad, Dr. Salman
Kazmi, Dr. Rana Sohail, Dr. Khalid Idrees, Dr. Nazim ali, Dr. Zeeshan
Aftab, Dr. Murawat.
> Dr Salman Kazmi was given the duty of making a constitution and a
website for the association.
